The Benefits of Cross Training

As I prepare for a Christmas trip to Patagonia, I am realizing the benefits of cross training.

I am incorporating treks, Pilates, Strength and Cardio in my programme.

The benefits of cross training include :

▶️Boosting cardiovascular endurance

▶️Training muscle groups not used in the main sport

▶️Allowing recovery from main sport

▶️Keeps you mentally engaged

▶️Reduces the risk of injury.

Cross training really is a game changer.
