Pilates on my travels to the States

It was always a dream of mine to visit the original Joseph Pilates studio, now Rolates Pilates, in New York. In 2017 I booked a trip to New York and had a 1:1 in the beautiful art deco studio - ( a photo I took below) where Joseph and his wife Clara taught and it was one the best experiences of my life, to see where it all began.

Last year I took a solo trip to Austin, Texas and I always love to check out Pilates wherever I am and this was no exception! I took a couple of Pilates Reformer classes at Solidcore and they were exhilarating.

I love to incorporate new ideas from my travels into classes and cannot wait to explore Patagonia in December and also check out Pilates in Buenos Aries... watch this space!
