Sixteen years ago I had a running injury, an IT band injury to be precise. I saw a physiotherapist and he said "try Pilates"
So I did. I found the control challenging and the breath association too. I was already flexible but struggled with the isolation and stabilizing and strength aspects.
I practiced and practiced for six years and took a leap of faith to train to be a teacher and leave my job of 21 years. After I completed my training, I completed my Yoga teacher training.
Movement is at the heart of what I do. I show up better in life because of Pilates and Yoga.
Pilates changed my life and I hope I can inspire others too.
